Thami Kotlolo (born in Mamelodi) is the founder of Feathers Awards. The ‘man of many talents’ conceived one of the SA prolific awards at the age of 23. He has managed to make a name for himself.
Thami has succeeded in ruffling a couple of feathers in politics, entertainment to corporate South Africa.
He serves as the Chief Executive Officer at the Quad Republic, one of the leading Communications and Events management companies.
As a child, he made it to the public domain after appearing in Backstage, Mr. Bones, Coca-cola advert, and Tastic rice and as a presenter on YO-TV.

Career
Thami served as assistant production manager at VUTHA Marketing and Advertising.
He later became a producer and production coordinator at SABC Africa.
He was a co-producer alongside Ashifa Shaba and Bridget Masinga on YFM weekend mid-morning slot.
Thami was enlisted by Sowetan as an ‘entertainment columnist’.
He co-produced the country’s most anticipated award shows, under the banner “Feathers”.
Today, he sits on the board of Joburg Pride, and has popular for proclaiming himself the ‘ANC Gay Youth League President’.
