However, it was also reported over the weekend that a Test against Wales has been scheduled prior to the world champions hosting Ireland.
The mid-year schedule will also include a clash against Portugal before the Springboks head into the Rugby Championship.

Meanwhile, the Springboks’ away Test schedule includes two matches against the Wallabies in Australia in August, and an away match against Argentina in the Rugby Championship in September, as well as engagements in Europe in November 2024.
