English singer and TV personality Cheryl Ann Tweedy, formerly Cole, has spoken out on the death of the father of her child, former One Direction bandmember Liam Payne.

CHERYL COLE SPEAKS OUT ON LIAM PAYNE’S DEATH

The mother of Liam Payne’s son and former girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy has spoken out on his untimely death in Argentina. Cheryl shared a photo of Liam laying next to their newborn son.

“As I try to navigate this earth shattering event, and work through my own grief at this indescribably painful time, I’d like to kindly remind everyone that we have lost a human being,” she wrote alongside a throwback black-and-white photo of Payne in bed with their then-newborn baby,” she wrote, according to Page Six.

“Liam was not only a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, a brother, an uncle, a dear friend and a father to our 7 year old son. A son that now has to face the harsh reality of never seeing his father again,” she continued.

Cheryl went on to ask people to please be kind.

“Before you leave comments or make videos, ask yourself if you would like your own child or family to read them. Please give Liam the little dignity he has left in the wake of his death to rest in some peace at last,” she added.

WHAT HAPPENED TO LIAM PAYNE?

Former member of boyband One Direction, Liam Payne has passed away after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina according to police there, as reported by CNN. The singer was only 31 years old at the time.

The publication reports that Payne’s death occurred Wednesday at a hotel on Costa Rica Street in the Palermo neighborhood.

Payne was seen in Argentina attending his former bandmate Niall Horan’s concert on 2 October in videos on social media. He had been staying in Argentina for over two weeks, spending time with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.

The singer was best known for being a member of One Direction, which included Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Horan. The band was first formed in 2010 after each member appeared on the UK version of reality competition show The X Factor.
