Maps Maponyane (born 16 March 1990), formally Masego Maponyane, is a South African TV presenter and actor. He is best known for starring as TK in season two of the Mzansi Magic drama series Rockville.
Aside from acting, Maps wear other hats as a fashion designer, model, creative consultant, businessperson, and voice-over artist. He has presented sports and lifestyle shows on television in South Africa.
Maponyane has worked with Canal Plus, SuperSport, SABC, M-Net, and Trace Sports networks. Jeannie D interviewed him on the SABC3 magazine show Top Billing in 2013.
The actor appeared as a co-presenter of the SABC3 reality competition and lifestyle series Win a Home in 2014.

Early Life
Maps Maponyane was born Masego Maponyane on 16 March 1990 in Soweto, Gauteng. His father, Marks Maponyane, is a retired soccer player.
Education
The television presenter attended St John’s College, Johannesburg. He studied at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Career
Maps took a year off his schooling in 2009 and began to attend modeling and acting auditions. After appearing among other hopefuls, he bagged his first modeling campaign.
The founder of the South African fashion week, Lucilla Booyzen, employed him as her assistant.
GQ named him their “Best Dressed Man” in 2011. Cosmopolitan Magazine mentioned him as the “Sexiest South African Man” in 2013. In 2015, the actor spoke at the Tomorrow’s Leaders Convention.
Maps played the starring role in the comedy series The Real Jozi A-Listers in 2015. He appeared alongside Da L.E.S, Trevor Gumbi, and Tol-A$$-Mo.
Maponyane played the lead role in the local film Tell Me Sweet Something alongside Nomzamo Mbatha. It became available in South African theaters on 4 September 2015.

Maps Maponyane dated actress Nomzamo Mbatha, but their relationship ended after cheating rumors involving Maps emerged. He is a proud uncle. In November 2021, he posted a picture of himself and his eight-month-old niece Nova.
