South African travellers can visit some great visa-free destinations with their SA passports.
As many South Africans are now enjoying time off work, with their annual bonuses at hand, here are some destinations to consider – for those who are planning future trips.
SA PASSPORT
While South African passports do not open as many doors as those of Singapore and Japan – whose nationals may enter close to 200 countries without any barriers, South Africans can still travel to some interesting places.
The notorious “Green Mamba” does allow entry to more destinations than most other passports from countries in the region, except for Mauritius and the Seychelles.
ENTRY VISAS
South Africans can travel to more than 100 destinations – from tropical islands to historical urban centres – without having to obtain visas in advance.
Applying for tourist visas can be stressful, time-consuming and expensive. But there are many amazing countries that South Africans can visit without one.
