Rimi embarked on her legal career at Ajumogobia & Okeke, where she worked from 1991 to 2001. Following this, she briefly served as a visiting attorney at Chadbourne & Parke for one year. Later, from 2002 to 2007, she held the position of Senior Vice President at GWI Consulting, becoming a founding partner at Rimi & Partners in the year 2007.
In May 2017, Aisha joined forces with Olasupo Shasore (SAN), Uyiekpen Giwa-Osagie, Oyinkan Badejo-Okusanya, Bello Salihu, and Atinuke Dosunmu to establish a continental law firm. The firm is now recognized as Africa Law Practice (ALP Legal or ALP). ALP Legal is associated with ALP International.
It is located in Mauritius and maintains partnerships with law offices in Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Within ALP, her legal expertise centers on foreign investment and regulatory compliance.
She also guides project finance, corporate and operational joint ventures, as well as various aspects of commercial legal practice for private clients. Additionally, she serves as a member of the board of directors for various companies. Some of these companies are CablePoint Ltd, Trasco Nig Ltd, Browns Café & Restaurant, and RNC Nigeria.
